Camp Echoing Hills is a non-profit Christian camp serving adults and children with physical and intellectual disabilities. Our camp promotes a strong sense of community and takes great pride in building relationships with the campers we serve.
This position is full time for the summer camp season.
The Program Maintenance Person is responsible for the set up and tear down of all camp activities, sound equipment, and other equipment necessary to meet camp needs. This position will oversee maintenance volunteers while creating a safe environment for campers, staff and volunteers. This position is also responsible for the upkeep of buildings, setting up cabins, and encouraging staff to create a safe camping experience by addressing any maintenance and safety needs. Finally this position will assist the Operations & Activities Director with providing leadership, compliance and safety responsibilities and assisting in other program areas as necessary and fulfilling the mission and purpose of the Camp Ministry. This position is a vital link between the campers and other staff involved in the operations of the camp and activities of the campers. Teamwork with co-workers and volunteers is important in order to ensure camper needs are met and the campers have a meaningful and enjoyable camping experience. This position will require the maintaining of a professional relationship with campers, camper’s family, and other co-workers and volunteers.
