Cabin Leader (Summer Counselor)

Camp Echoing Hills serves adults and children with disabilities during the summer and year round. There is opportunity to use this position as an internship in several fields of study. Education/Special Education, Nursing/Healthcare, Ministry, Physical/Occupational Therapy...etc

Staff must be 18 years or older with a high-school diploma or GED
Camp counselors will be a part of a team serving campers with developmental disabilities. They will work alongside other staff and volunteers to provide care, supervision and build relationships with the campers in their cabin. - All required skills will be covered during staff orientation.

Cabin counselors will need to be willing to provide personal care (hygiene needs, bathroom needs, feeding… etc) lead activities and work as a team with others.
Job Type: Seasonal/Temporary

Qualifications: Staff must be 18 years or older. Summer staff orientation begins June 11th. (If unable to make it to orientation please still inquire) Staff will stay at camp during the summer camp season and have time off over the weekend. (Each camp week runs Sun – Thurs)
